It's Clear As Glass

My awesome 'net buddy Carolyn just put into words something that I've long understood, yet never acutally articulated, which can make all the difference in the world sometimes.

"When we can't control the big things, we try to control the little ones."

This is so true! I have no control over my current "big picture", so I'm totally obsessing over little things being exact. Now I've stated the reason for my neurosis, I feel much better about it.

As usual, in times like these, I will fall back on my mantra, nicely framed here:

Ahhhh...that made me cry. There is something about our friendship. I can't quite figure it out. But, your writing and words always makes me remember...makes me ponder....makes me reflect. It is odd. But, in a good way.

I so am buying you that poster for your new home. When is your birthday exactly? Don't say, "May 6" cause that would be freaky. :)

wow; so true! never really thought about.... but in my case, it's definitely a fact. I get all OCD over little things whenever I feel i have no control over the "big" things I'm worried about....

Well put! Now if only my OCD would allow me to follow those words of advice...

Hey...your other blog is so high-tech, so amazing, so comment-free? I was going to comment on your dream. That was so great. I love how you didn't care that Fergie didn't know/invite/need you. Now, that is CONFIDENCE. They are beautiful...

What was it that they ran out of?
